OTTAWA — It’s time for some Chicago-style voting and Ottawa High School will benefit. Ottawa High School could receive a $100,000 education grant from the Seatbelts Are For Everyone program. If the school wins the most on-line votes, it will qualify for the grant, said Ottawa Police Chief Dennis Butler. Voters can vote once each day until Saturday, he said. To vote, go to the Web site celebratemydrive.com. Votes may also be cast at the State Farm Celebrate My Drive teen driver safety celebration Saturday from 10 to 6 at the Oak Park Mall in Overland Park. The event includes a drawing for 2013 Chevy Sonic, other giveaways, driving games and simulators, and a visit from KU basketball coach Bill Self.
