LYNDON — Three people were injured in a crash Tuesday night at the intersection of U.S. 75 and K-368/K-31 junction north of Lyndon. Justin Wiscombe, 26, Overbrook; was driving east on K-31 and failed to yield at the stop sign, and turned left on U.S. 75 in front of a semi-truck driven by John Polec, 49, Orlando, Fla., the Kansas Highway Patrol said. Polec’s semi plowed into Wiscombe’s SUV. Polec, Wiscombe and a passenger in Wiscombe’s SUV, Martin Padilla, 28, Carbondale; was taken to Stormont Vail Hospital in Topeka. They were all wearing seat belts.
