SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — The executive director of the Garnett-based Kansas Corn Growers Association is in a Springfield, Mo., hospital with critical injuries after a motorcycle crash Friday. Jere White is in the intensive care unit at Mercy Hospital in Springfield after he was injured in a motorcycle wreck Friday in northwest Arkansas, the Anderson County Review reported. Although he was wearing a helmet, he received head injuries, and a compound fracture to his wrist, the newspaper said. His family has established a Facebook page to update the public about his condition. He underwent an MRI scan Sunday morning, his son, Robert White, reported on Facebook.
