KANSAS CITY — The family and friends of baby Lisa Irwin held a candlelight prayer vigil Wednesday night outside the home of her parents, Deborah Bradley and Jeremy Irwin. She disappeared from her north Kansas City home a year ago. Her father returned home from his late-shift job on Oct. 4 and found the front door open, several lights on and her mother asleep. Lisa’s crib was empty. Both parents said they had nothing to do with her disappearance and said that someone broke into their home and snatched Lisa while she slept. The Kansas City Star reported that police have investigated nearly 1,700 tips, including 500 reported sightings around the world.
