LAWRENCE — The Capitol Federal Foundation of Topeka has pledged $20 million to build a new school of business building at the University of Kansas. The largest gift in the business school’s history was announced Thursday afternoon at KU’s Lied Center. Capital Federal chairman John B. Dicus and his father, chairman emeritus John C. Dicus, were both KU business graduates. The six-story, 166,000-square-foot building will be built on the east side of Naismith Drive, across from Allen Fieldhouse. It will be built with the newest technology, modern learning labs, and auditoriums, KU said. The new facility is expected to boost annual business graduates from 500 to 750 in the undergraduate program, and from 280 to 350 in the graduate program, KU said.
