WILLIAMSBURG — A 19-year-old Linwood man was taken to Ransom Memorial Hospital Friday night when his car hit a mini-van on I-35 near Williamsburg. The Franklin County Sheriff’s office said Alexander Shewmon’s car left the roadway and when his car came back onto the highway it struck a northbound mini-van driven by Clara Ensminger, 17, Hutchinson. There was no record of Ensminger and her two passengers receiving any injuries although the mini-van was severely damaged.
