TOPEKA- The political race is getting tight and not just at the presidential level. Congresswoman Lynn Jenkins is seeing a challenge from Tobias Schlingensiepen. Jenkins pocket’s are considerably deeper from corporate donors, but Schlingensiepen is outshining Jenkins in individual donations. Jenkins has received monetary support from 170 individuals while the first-time-running Topeka pastor has received 730 individual contributions. The numbers are based off reports filed with the Federal Elections Committee.
