RICHMOND – A 58-year-old Richmond farmer reported to the Franklin County Sheriff’s office Friday that thieves stole two tractor batteries and a GPS receiver from a 2005 John Deere 8420 tractor sitting in a field in the 400 block of Eisenhower Avenue west of Richmond. The battery cables were cut and damaged. Loss was estimated at $3,500.
