WILLIAMSBURG — A 51-year-old Kansas City man was taken to Stormont Vail Hospital in Topeka as a result of a one-vehicle crash on I-35 just south of the Osage-Franklin county line Wednesday morning. Danny Johnston was driving south on I-35 when his mini-van went off the road for an unknown reason and went into the south-bound ditch, the Kansas Highway Patrol said. The van rolled over several times and Johnston was thrown out. The highway patrol said he wasn’t wearing a seat belt.
