BALDWIN CITY — Two Franklin County students were among 22 first-year and transfer students who graduated from Baker University EmergingL summit held this weekend at Camp Chippewa near Ottawa. Bryan Richardson, of Lane, and Mackenzie Sammons, of Wellsville, were among those students who honored by Baker. The summit challenges students to develop their leadership skills by learning leadership styles, enabling others to act, developing teamwork and establishing values and respect. Graduates from the program often hold significant campus leadership positions, including Orientation Team members, resident assistants, Student Activities Council and other organizations, and the Baker Ambassadors.
