OTTAWA — Hunt Martin Materials reported a theft to the Franklin County Sheriff’s office at the quarry in the 2300 block of Sand Creek Road Wednesday morning. The loss was estimated at $2,000. Early Thursday morning, officers interrupted another burglary at the quarry. According to prelimimary reports, a couple fled the scene on foot, leaving a vehicle and burglary tools.
