OTTAWA — The Franklin County commissioners agreed to chip a little more than $1,400 into a voluntary state appraisers fund to help make improvements in the state’s Orion computer program. counties use the Orion system, which replaced the older CAMA program, to appraise most properties in the state. The Kansas Appraisers group is seeking the donations to help improve Orion and make it easier for counties to use, Franklin County Appraiser Philip Dudley told commissioners.
