GARNETT — The Garnett City Commission will likely continue a discussion tonight at 6 at city hall over signs – and more broadly, over the importance of the city’s development of a new brand image for tourism. The city commission has been looking new signs to help residents and visitors navigate through the city by using the city’s new logo and slogan, the Anderson County Review reported. At their last meeting, when business groups asked the commissioners to pay to replace two welcome signs into the city, commissioners balked, asking instead for a detailed plan before agreeing to pay for any of the signs. City manager Joyce Martin is expected to present an outline of a plan and budget to replace signs.
