TOPEKA — The Kansas Bureau of Investigation will host an open house and celebration of retired KBI director Larry Welch Tuesday afternoon from 2 to 6 in Topeka. At 2, there will be a dedication of a display honoring Welch’s career and contributions. There will also be public tours of the KBI headquarters at 1620 SW Tyler Street in Topeka.
