OTTAWA — Two Ottawa men were booked into the Franklin County jail Wednesday evening in connection with a series of business burglaries. Ryan Hird, 33, and Jerry Spurlock, Jr., 45, were booked on burglary, theft and criminal damage to property charges in connection with the burglaries, Sheriff’s Lt. Curtis Hall said. Hird was also booked for possessing ephedrine and methamphamine. Among those businesses recently burglarized and may be connected to the case include Anderson Tire and the Hunt Midwest quarry north of Ottawa.
