OTTAWA — Nearly 300 bikers took part in this weekend’s 26th annual Toys for Kids Ride. As the first motorcycle turned into Forest Park, Gloria Crane, one of the organizers of the ride, said she was still at Seventh and Main at the back of the parade. The group has raised more than $20,000 from its fundraisers through the year to go for toys for ECKAN’s Christmas Bureau, she said. Bob Black, who started the first ride 26 years ago, took part in this year’s ride, Crane said. The bikers are grateful for the community’s support and the volunteers who have kept the ride going over 26 years, she said.
