OTTAWA — The Ottawa City Commission agreed to place two items involving a new industry on the regular city commission agenda for next week. The two items will offer a property tax break to Monoflo International, which is moving into the old Kennel-Aire building in the Davis Road Industrial Park. The items would grant the tax exemption to Monoflo and meet state regulations concerning such exemptions, said city manager Richard Nienstedt. Monoflo is a plastics injection molding company that makes pallets and other warehouse-handling products. Monoflo, a Virginia-based company, said it plans to eventually hire 60 employees.
