RANTOUL — A fire caused some damage to a Rantoul home in the 400 block of South Elm Street Saturday afternoon. The fire appears to have an electrical origin and started behind a dryer, Franklin County Deputy Jerrod Fredricks said. The people in the home escaped without injury, he said. There was no immediate estimate of damage.
