OTTAWA — Three Franklin County residents are facing federal drug charges. James New, 46, Ottawa; Jessica Blackstone, 27, Williamsburg; and Nicholas Griffin, 33, Ottawa; are each charged with one count of conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute methamphetamine. New and Griffin are also charged with one count of possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine; and New is charged with two counts of unlawful possession of firearms after felony convictions. The trio are charged with crimes believed to have occurred at various times from December 2010 to March 2012 in Franklin County, U.S. Attorney Barry Grissom said.
