MICHIGAN VALLEY — A fire destroyed a home Friday at 213th and Michigan roads in the Michigan Valley community. The fire quickly spread to another residence and a mobile home, Osage County Sheriff Laurie Dunn said. Fire departments from Overbrook, Carbondale, Lyndon, Osage City and Pomona were summoned to help fight the fires, she said. Firefighters were at the scene several hours. At this time the cause of the fire has not been determined, Dunn said.
