LONE STAR — A man was flown by helicopter to a Kansas City-area hospital Monday after a single-vehicle accident near Lone Star Lake in southwestern Douglas County. The man’s vehicle left the roadway on the 400 block of County Road 460 and went down a steep embankment, the Lawrence Journal-World reported. The man wasn’t identified.
