DULUTH, Minn. — A trial for a Minnesota man accused of robbing the Great Southern Bank in Ottawa last year as part of a cross-country crime spree has been continued until Feb. 4 in U.S. District Court in Duluth, Minn. Timothy Glen Caskey faces trial in Minnesota on charges of kidnapping and interstate domestic violence. Caskey was indicted of kidnapping his ex-wife and forcing her to accompany him as he headed to Mexico, where he was eventually caught by Mexican state police. A charge of bank robbery has been filed in U.S. District Court in Kansas City, Kan., in connection with the Ottawa robbery. No trial has been scheduled in that case. The delay was requested by his attorney who saids she needs additional time because of the complexity of the case and because Caskey faces charges in multiple states.
