LAWRENCE — The Lawrence City Commission is looking at a proposal for a new location for the weekday Lawrence Farmers Market. The Lawrence Journal-World reported city staff will look at a proposal to put the Tuesday and Thursday markets along the 800 block of Rhode Island Street. Board members of the Lawrence Farmers Market are asking for the change because they want a location that is closer to their Saturday market in the long-term city parking lot in the 800 block of New Hampshire Street. The weekday site is a lot next to the parking lot.
