OTTAWA — After weeks of no filings there was a last-day filing frenzy Tuesday morning before the noon filing deadline for the Ottawa school board ended up with six candidates for the three seats on the board. Bill Allegre was the only incumbent to file for the board. Other candidates who filed are former city commissioner Richard Jackson, Tim Caitlin, Russ Wilson and Norman Wooge. The first candidate to file, Linda Alderman, filed last week.
