CARBONDALE — All traffic barriers at the interchange at U.S. 75 and U.S. 56 in Osage County will be removed this morning by 10. One lane on the bridge on U.S. 75 was closed and traffic restricted on U.S. 56 because a truck damaged the bridge over U.S. 56. A contractor had been making emergency repairs on the bridge. The repair is being completed two days ahead of schedule, the Kansas Department of Transportation’s Kimberly Qualls said.
