REPUBLIC — The next part of a series of Indian photos by Edward Curtis is on display at the Pawnee Iindian Museum State Historic Site near Republic. This part of the Curtis photography series called “A Sacred Legacy” features western tribes from California and the Northwest. These photographs were taken in the early 1900s, and many are rare original prints. The exhibit is on display through May 31. Admission is $5 for adults, $1 for students. Kansas Historical Foundation members and children five and younger are admitted free.
