GARNETT — The Garnett Area Chamber of Commerce reported today that counterfeit five-dollar bills have been circulated in the area. The chamber said one bogus bill was used to buy Girl Scout cookies at the Garnett Casey’s Store. About two weeks ago, the Chamber issued a warning of bogus $20s in the area.
