OTTAWA – While water production at the Ottawa Water Treatment Plant is up slightly from last year at this time, the drought continues to be an issue in Kansas. The City of Ottawa reports water production is up from this time last year, topping out at 9,965,000 gallons. That’s up from last year’s production of 9,455,000 gallons. However, reservoir levels are down again. Levels in Pomona are down 0.09 of a foot from last week and Melvern is down 0.06 of a foot from last week. March 8, 2013, 8:58a.m.
