KALAMAZOO, MI–When Kalamazoo, Michigan, police officers decided to check on a man sitting in a parked vehicle behind a hotel early yesterday morning the man told them he had accidentally hit a deer with his car. Yahoo News reports the man told officers he had put the dead deer in his trunk so he could use the meat. When officers asked to check the deer for the proper deer tags, they opened the trunk. the deer sprang from the trunk and made a run for a nearby wooded area. There was no word who was more surprised: the deer, the man or the cops.
