POMONA–Four incumbents and 6 new candidates answered questions from teachers during a Candidates’ Forum at Pomona High School. All candidates agreed that there needs to be more technology in schools, but were split on the proposed Bond Issue. The incumbents support the bond issue as the best way to insure the long-term success of West Franklin students. Several new candidates say the Bond is unaffordable and many taxpayers will not be able to afford the rise in property taxes.
