OTTAWA — The Franklin County Crime Stoppers Crime of the Week isn’t a crime, but you can still help resolve some crimes. If you have filed a burglary or theft report with the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office, Ottawa Police Department or the Wellsville Police Department any time this year, they ask that you to come to the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office on Friday, April 6, between 8 and 2. Several pieces of stolen property have been recovered and the law agencies are trying to get it back to the rightful owners. Franklin County Crime Stoppers will pay up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest of any one committing a crime in Franklin County.
