OTTAWA–A 41-year-old Ottawa woman was taken to Ransom Memorial Hospital and a Leawood man may have been injured as a result of a crash at I-35 and K-68 Thursday afternoon. The Kansas Highway Patrol says 51-year-old Michael Hansen of Leawood was driving south on I-35 when he exited at the K-68 interchange off-ramp. The Highway Patrol says he came to a complete stop at the intersection but pulled out in front of Ella Torres who was driving west on K-68. The Highway Patrol says both were wearing seat belts. Hansen refused an ambulance, but chose to get treatment from his doctor.
