CENTRAL HEIGHTS — The first of four town hall meetings on the Central Heights school board’s proposed $1.75 million school bond issue will be tonight at 7 at Rantoul City Hall. Later meetings will be 7 p.m. on April 17th at the Lane Community Building, April 24th at the Princeton Community Building and May 1 at the Richmond Community building. The bond election will be conducted by mail. The proposal calls for replacing the roof on the original round school building, replacing bleachers and make other improvements in the gymnasium, replacing kitchen appliances, building a new band room and building a locker room facility at the Bud Schaub Sports Complex.
