FRANKLIN COUNTY — The Franklin County Commission is pleased to announce that Jeff Richards’ selection by the Franklin County Republican Central Committee for the office of Franklin County Sheriff has been approved by Kansas Governor Brownback. Jeff Richards will be sworn in as the next Sheriff of Franklin County at the Franklin County Commission meeting at 8:30 a.m. on April 10, 2013 at the Franklin County Commission Chambers at the County Annex at 1418 South Main, Ottawa, Kansas.
