WELLSVILLE — The southbound lanes of I-35 will be closed overnight beginning Thursday night at 10 between Gardner and Wellsville, weather permitting. The Kansas Department of Transportation says traffic will be closed to allow a contractor to continue setting bridge girders for the new Homestead Lane bridge over I-35. KDOT says traffic should resume Friday morning at 5. Traffic will be detoured to US-56 to K-33 and back to I-35.
