GARDNER — A Johnson County Sheriff’s Deputy from Gardner was arrested by his colleagues Wednesday. Erin Rogers was charged with aggravated battery, aggravated assault, child endangerment and battery charges in connection incidents reported to have place in the past several years. A Sheriff’s spokesman told the news website “Gardner Edge” that the incidents were reported to have taken place while Rogers was off duty. Rogers, 45, was placed on administrative leave in January when the investigation began. Bond was set at $25,000.
