OVERLAND PARK — The eastbound lanes of I-435 between I-35 and US-69 will be closed overnight beginning Friday night at 10, weather permitting. The I-35 interchange ramps to eastbound I-435 will also be closed. I-435 will reopen Saturday morning at 10. The Kansas Department of Transportation said crews will set girders for a new road bridge over I-435 near US-69. While the road is closed, crews will also complete installation work for overhead signs and conduit under the Quivira Road Bridge, and paint the Quivira Road Bridge girders. Traffic will be detoured onto eastbound 87th Street from I-35 to US-69 back to I-435.
