KANSAS — The Kansas Water Office is accepting applications for River Basin Advisory Committees. The Marais des Cygnes River Basin Advisory Committee has seven positions open. There are different categories for committee members. BACs are citizen advisory groups who provide insight, track issues and alert the Kansas Water Office and Kansas Water Authority when areas of concern arise in any of the 12 river basins located in Kansas.
