OTTAWA — The whereabouts of a 17-year-old Ottawa teen was unknown this week after he disappeared from the 1500 block of South Osage late Sunday night. The teen had been held in state custody but was allowed weekend leave to visit his family members in Ottawa, Ottawa Police Capt. Adam Weingartner said. The teen’s mother says the teen left home without permission and the state says he never returned.
