LANE–Officials with the Central Heights School District are optimistic that all the projects listed for the proposed 1.7 million dollar bond issue can be accomplished. At a community meeting in Lane, Superintendent Jim White says construction is the cheapest it’s been in years, and contractors will be beating down the door to get work. White says this should allow all projects to be completed within budget.
