OTTAWA — A 17-year-old Ottawa teen who skipped out of state custody last week will soon be back in state custody. Ottawa police arrested the boy early Friday morning after he returned home in the 1500 block of Osage Drive. The teen had been held in state custody but was allowed weekend leave to visit family members in Ottawa, Ottawa Police Capt. Adam Weingartner said. The teen’s mother said the teen left home without permission and he never returned from leave.
