TENNESSEE – Country music has lost one of its icons today. Country music Hall of Famer George Jones has died at the age of 81. He passed away Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee, where he had been hospitalized on April 18 with fever and irregular blood pressure. Jones is remembered for hits such as “She Still Thinks I Care,” “The Grand Tour” and “Walk Through This World With Me.” He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Nancy Jones, his sister Helen Scroggins, his children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
