GARNETT — Many customers in Garnett and Anderson County lost their Internet service through Centurylink this morning. Several Internet sites report the outage is statewide and affects at least 17 states across most of the nation and affects millions of customers. The company, the nation’s third largest telecommunications company, has confirmed wide-ranging outages today but offered no reasons for the outage. The company has not said when service would be restored, although some local customers report their service was restored this afternoon.
