RICHTER — A third body has been recovered from a rural farmstead at 3194 Georgia Rd. near Richter, Franklin County Sheriff Jeff Richards said. All three were killed, he said a press conference this morning. At a press conference Monday night, Richards originally said there were two bodies but a third was discovered in the meantime. He said the victims are one woman and two men. “We are working to identify the victims,” Richards said. He declined to say how they were killed or how long they had been dead. He said he didn’t want to release any details that compromise the investigation. He said a fourth man reported missing in Franklin County hasn’t been located. The Major Case Squad and the Johnson County Sheriff’s Crime Scene Investigation is helping with the case, he said. More than 40 detectives from various agencies are helping with the investigation, he said. At the press conference, there were several questions about reports from friends that a baby is also missing. That refers to a missing persons case involving a woman and her baby. Richards said investigators have considered that but haven’t found a definitive link. “We don’t know at this time if those people made to the address here in Franklin County,” he said. He also confirmed reports from friends that deputies had checked the scene the day before the bodies were found. He said he won’t review that until the investigiation is completed. “I don’t want to Monday morning quarterback,” he said. Tuesday afternoon, preliminary reports indicate officers were looking for a Toyota Corolla in connection with the case. The Kansas Highway Patrol told KMBC Channel 9 Tuesday afternoon that they are looking for 28-year-old Kyle Flack and 23-year-old Cyle Bailey as persons of interest in connection with the case. The highway patrol described Flack as 5-feet, 9-inches tall and 165 pounds, with blond hair and green eyes. The highway patrol said Flack should be considered armed and dangerous. He is believed to be driving a 2007 black Toyota Corolla. Bailey is described as 5-feet, 7-inches tall and 145 pounds, with black hair and blue eyes.
