SCRANTON — A 29-year-old Holton woman was killed and a 20-year-old Netawaka man was injured in a one-vehicle crash in Osage County northwest of Scranton late Saturday night. Daniel Martin, Netawaka, was driving west on 125th Street when he lost control of the SUV he was driving, the Kansas Highway Patrol said. The SUV left the road and struck a tree. His passenger, Tasha Arketa, Holton, was killed. The highway patrol said she wasn’t wearing a seat belt. Martin was injured and taken by Osage County EMS ambulance to Stormont Vail Medical Center of Topeka. He was wearing a seat belt.
