LAWRENCE — A resurfacing project will begin Friday on more than eight miles of K-10 between the I-70 Kansas Turnpike Interchange and the US 59 Interchange in Lawrence. The Kansas Department of Transportation says work will take place during daylight hours from 7 to 7 Monday through Friday, with some occasional Saturday work, weather permitting. Northbound and southbound lanes will be closed at various times of the work. A flagger and a pilot car will direct traffic. Drivers should expect delays of up to 15 minutes. The work will continue most of this month.
