OLATHE — A 42-year-old Olathe man was taken to Olathe Medical Center after he hit a deer on I-35 near Gardner Monday night. The Kansas Highway Patrol said Corey Hruby was driving south on I-35 about one mile south of Gardner Road in Gardner when he struck the deer. The Highway Patrol said he was wearing a seatbelt.
