OTTAWA — A 14-year-old Ottawa boy was cited by Ottawa police for disorderly conduct and for carrying a concealed firearm without a permit in the 200 block of East 2nd Street Friday evening. When officers surrounded the boy, they found that he had an Airsoft, a realistic model of a gun that fires plastic BBs, Capt. Adam Weingartner said. Although it’s not illegal to have the replica firearms, Weingartner said it’s illegal to fire them inside the city limits.
