LEROY — It wasn’t texting but text contributed to an injury accident west of Leroy last week. Troy Pennington, 34, Topeka; was driving a truck east on K-58 east of the U.S. 75 junction, when he looked down at paperwork and ran off the road to the right, the Kansas Highway Patrol said. He overcorrected and came back across k-58, went into the north ditch and his truck overturned. He was taken to Coffey County Hospital in Burlington.
