GARNETT — Katy Ludwig has been named the executive director of the Garnett Area Chamber of Commerce. Ludwig has been the past executive director of the Woodson County Chamber of Commerce. She has been a part of the Southeast Kansas Chamber Executives Group and served as a member of the Woodson County economic development board. She is a member of the Garnett Tourism Committee. The chamber is planning an after-hours meet and greet for Ludwig. The chamber has also begun the planning of Libertyfest fireworks display on July 3.
